A candle collection inspired by the love story between Apollo and Hyacinth and the different forms sensuality can take.

In the Greek myth, Hyacinth’s life is transformed into a flower, making the ephemeral a presence that endures. Each fragrance in the collection interprets a different sensuality and finds in the flame a way to inhabit space, awaken memory, and keep alive that which transforms us.

JACINTX 04 explores wild sensuality: free, instinctive, and deeply connected to the plant world. Hyacinth and basil open the fragrance with a green, aromatic gesture. Considered a sacred plant in various traditions, basil evokes ancient rituals of cleansing, protection, and renewal. At the heart, rose emerges among forest notes, before settling on a deep base of woods and musks.

Its aromatic presence transforms the space into a living territory: flowers, leaves, and wood meet in a composition that celebrates the beauty of that which grows without being contained.

Every year, a creative voice from the LGBTQIA+ community interprets the universe of Jacintx. The fragrance remains; the object takes on a new form.

For Ed. MMXXVI, Yumiko Yanome, an artist and ceramist of Mexican and Japanese roots, handcrafts a piece in Mexico that establishes a dialogue between two geographies united by fire: Mexico City, where the ceramic takes shape, and Greece, the territory of origin for the myth of Apollo and Hyacinth.

Its outer surface, dark, porous, and irregular, evokes the volcanic landscapes of the Pedregal and the Aegean: matter transformed by fire that preserves the memory of its origin. In contrast, the interior reveals fields of color layered like an abstract landscape, with a distinct color composition for each Jacintx sensuality.

When lighting the candle, the light gradually reveals this inner landscape. The color does not illustrate the fragrance; it translates its emotional temperature and gives it a presence of its own.

Each piece retains the imprint of its process. Variations in texture, glaze, and color are part of its nature and ensure that no two are exactly alike.

Ingredients

Botanical wax blend, fragrance, and cotton wick.

Due to the natural origin of some of its ingredients, the wax may show slight variations in color.

The lighting ritual

Light it and allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container. As the fragrance unfolds, breathe in the encounter between the hyacinth and the basil and imagine their greenery spreading through the space. Let the forest notes, woods, and musks gradually transform the atmosphere into a free and instinctive territory.

Care

• Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 7 mm.
• On the first light, allow the surface of the wax to melt evenly.
• Enjoy it for one to four hours per lighting.
• Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
• Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of children or pets.

Our containers are designed to have a second life: reuse them as a decorative object or bring them to our showroom for a refill and continue enjoying their beauty.
