A candle collection inspired by the love story between Apollo and Hyacinthus, and the different forms sensuality can take.

In the Greek myth, Hyacinthus’ life transforms into a flower, turning the ephemeral into an enduring presence. Each fragrance in the collection interprets a distinct sensuality and finds in the flame a way to inhabit space, awaken memory, and keep alive that which transforms us.

JACINTX 08 explores mystical sensuality: contemplative, profound, and suspended between matter and the invisible. Cedar and hyacinth open the fragrance with a contrast between wood and flower. At its heart, copal and patchouli unfold a resinous and ritualistic presence, before settling into the enveloping warmth of amber and musks.

Its aroma evokes smoke rising, light transforming darkness, and the gestures that turn an everyday space into an intimate sanctuary.

Each year, a creative voice from the LGBTQIA+ community interprets the Jacintx universe. The fragrance remains; the object takes on a new form.

For Ed. MMXXV, Yumiko Yanome, an artist and ceramicist of Mexican and Japanese roots, handcrafted a piece in Mexico with a contained shape and soft proportions. On the light clay, the glaze flows in milky whites, mineral greens, and deep tones, drawing irregular horizons that make each vessel a unique piece.

Its language evokes the sensitivity of Japanese ceramics and the notion of keshiki: the landscape that appears on a piece through the variations of clay, glaze, and fire. In this visual tradition, drips, accumulations, and tonal shifts are observed as part of the work’s expression, not as imperfections.

Each piece retains the mark of its process. The movement of the glaze dialogues with the history of Jacintx: the beauty of the unrepeatable, the transformation of matter, and that which remains after change.

Ingredients

Blend of botanical waxes, fragrance, and cotton wick.

Due to the natural origin of some ingredients, the wax may show slight color variations.

The lighting ritual

Light and allow the wax to melt to the edges of the vessel. Watch the flame and breathe slowly as the cedar, copal, and patchouli unfold their depth. Let the resins, amber, and musks transform the atmosphere and make the space a sanctuary for contemplation.

Care

• Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 7 mm.
• On the first light, allow the surface of the wax to melt evenly.
• Enjoy it for one to four hours per lighting.
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets.

A piece to remain

Our vessels are designed to have a second life: reuse them as a decorative object or bring them to our showroom for a refill and continue enjoying their beauty.
