A candle collection inspired by the love story between Apollo and Hyacinth and the different forms sensuality can take.

In the Greek myth, Hyacinth's life is transformed into a flower, turning the ephemeral into a lasting presence. Each fragrance in the collection interprets a distinct sensuality and finds in the flame a way to inhabit space, awaken memory, and keep alive that which transforms us.

JACINTX 05 explores warm sensuality: intimate, bodily, and deeply enveloping. Hyacinth and rose open the composition with an intense floral expression. In the heart, guaiac wood brings depth and a delicately smoky nuance, before settling into a soft and persistent base of woods and musks.

Its aroma evokes the closeness of skin, the intimacy of a flame, and the heat that remains in a space after an encounter.

The Edition · MMXXV

Every year, a creative voice from the LGBTQIA+ community interprets the Jacintx universe. The fragrance remains; the object takes on a new form.

For Ed. MMXXV, Yumiko Yanome, an artist and ceramicist of Mexican and Japanese roots, handcrafts a piece in Mexico with a contained shape and soft proportions. Over the light clay, the glaze flows in milky whites, mineral greens, and deep tones, drawing irregular horizons that make each container a unique piece.

Its language evokes the sensitivity of Japanese ceramics and the notion of keshiki: the landscape that appears on a piece through the variations of clay, glaze, and fire. In this visual tradition, drips, accumulations, and tonal changes are observed as part of the work’s expression, not as imperfections.

Each piece preserves the imprint of its process. The movement of the glaze dialogues with the story of Jacintx: the beauty of the unrepeatable, the transformation of matter, and what remains after change.

Ingredients

Blend of botanical waxes, fragrance, and cotton wick.

Due to the natural origin of some of its ingredients, the wax may show slight color variations.

The lighting ritual

Light and allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container. As the fragrance unfolds, perceive how the hyacinth and rose meet the smoky warmth of the guaiac wood. Let the woods and musks slowly envelop the space and create an intimate and close atmosphere.

Care

• Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 7 mm.
• On the first burn, allow the surface of the wax to melt evenly.
• Enjoy it for one to four hours per lighting.
• Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
• Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of children or pets.

A piece to remain

Our containers are designed to have a second life: reuse them as a decorative object or bring them to our showroom for a refill and continue enjoying their beauty.
