A candle collection inspired by the love story between Apollo and Hyacinth and the different forms sensuality can take.

In Greek myth, Hyacinth’s life is transformed into a flower, making the ephemeral a lasting presence. Each fragrance in the collection interprets a distinct sensuality, finding in the flame a way to inhabit space, awaken memory, and keep what transforms us alive.

JACINTX 04 explores wild sensuality: free, instinctive, and deeply connected to the plant world. Hyacinth and basil open the fragrance with a green, aromatic gesture. Considered a sacred plant in various traditions, basil evokes ancient rituals of cleansing, protection, and renewal. At the heart, rose emerges among forest notes, before settling onto a deep base of woods and musks.

Its aromatic presence transforms the space into a living territory: flowers, leaves, and wood meet in a composition that celebrates the beauty of that which grows without being contained.

Every year, a creative voice from the LGBTQIA+ community interprets the universe of Jacintx. The fragrance remains; the object takes on a new form.

For the MMXXV Ed., Yumiko Yanome, an artist and ceramist of Mexican and Japanese roots, handcrafts a piece in Mexico with a contained shape and soft proportions. Over the light clay, the glaze flows in milky whites, mineral greens, and deep tones, drawing irregular horizons that make each container a unique piece.

Her language evokes the sensibility of Japanese ceramics and the notion of keshiki: the landscape that appears on a piece through the variations of clay, glaze, and fire. In this visual tradition, drips, accumulations, and shifts in tone are observed as part of the work’s expression, not as imperfections.

Each piece retains the trace of its process. The movement of the glaze dialogues with the history of Jacintx: the beauty of the unrepeatable, the transformation of matter, and that which remains after change.

Ingredients

A blend of botanical waxes, fragrance, and a cotton wick.

Due to the natural origin of some of its ingredients, the wax may present slight color variations.

The ignition ritual

Light it and allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container. As the fragrance unfolds, breathe in the encounter between the hyacinth and the basil and imagine their greenery spreading through the space. Let the forest notes, woods, and musks gradually transform the atmosphere into a free and instinctive territory.

Care

• Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 7 mm.
• On the first burn, allow the surface of the wax to melt evenly.
• Enjoy it for one to four hours per burn.
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets.

A piece to remain

Our containers are designed to have a second life: reuse them as a decorative object or bring them to our showroom for a refill and continue enjoying their beauty.
